Leapster and Tag Book coupons
For those of you with kids, there are some coupons out right now on www.coupons.com for LeapFrog products. These include a $4/1 Tag Book Coupon, $5/1 Leapster Learning Game, and $2/1 Tag Junior Book. This week at Toys R Us the Leapster games are BOGO so if you use 2 $5 off coupons you can get 2 games for only $14.99. Also, keep an eye out for Tag books on clearance. I picked some up at Shopko awhile back that were on clearance for $6.97, making them only $2 after the $4 off coupon.

What is Swagbucks you ask? To put it simple, you use Swagbucks to search the internet. You are rewarded with swagbucks anywhere from 1 buck, 2 buck, 10 bucks, etc. These add up and you can use them to get prizes. For example, I usually cash in and get Amazon gift cards, a $5 Amazon gift card is only 45 bucks so it doesn't take much to get one. They will also randomly put out swagcodes for you to enter that will earn you more bucks. Pick n Save to Double up to 10 coupons on Dec. 23
Normally, Pick N Save or Copps will double up to 5 $1 coupons on Wednesdays if you spend $25 before coupons and after store savings. They will have a special on Wednesday Dec. 23 and will double up to 10 $1 coupons if you spend $25! I'm hoping it will be a good ad!! Stay tuned for some deals when the ad comes out this weekend!

I don't have that Coupon! What now?
The Sunday paper inserts can vary by the region you live in. A lot of the time I don't get some coupons in my area that I really want. What do you do now? You can buy some coupons! Check out http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/ you can buy whole inserts or just cut coupons. The prices really do vary, you can pay just pennies for a say a $1 off coupon to like 20 cents for a few dollars off, etc. Shipping is pretty cheap and they send them out right away that day if you order soon enough. I have also ordered some coupons on eBay. I would suggest checking both out for the best price before ordering some. Remember, that it takes time to receive in the mail, so if you want the coupons for something on sale for the same week you'll want to order early in the week like Monday or Tuesday to receive them in time!

Walgreen Tips
Walgreens aka WAGS
- you can use a manufacturer coupon plus a walgreens coupon on one item.
- when you use a walgreens coupon and buying multiple of that item, you only need one coupon, it will take that amount off for how many items you have
- sometimes with coupon amounts you'll actually be "making" money so you need to buy more than those items...they aren't going to give you money back, etc. The order of your coupons comes into play to, always give the manufacture coupon first then the walgreens coupon. This is a scenario from the other week: In the wags weekly ad on front page was a in ad wags coupon that made kleenex $1.09 a box. Ok so I had mfq (manufacturer) coupons that were 50 cents off 3 boxes and there was a $1 instant savings wags coupon in their monthly coupon book. So if you do the math.... $1.09 - $1 - .16 is negative amount (money maker) So what you do is make sure you hand your coupons in a certain order. The order you want to hand would be your mfq, then the $1 instant savings wag coupon, then the $1.09 ad price coupon. If I have more things I'm buying with coupons I generally mix them too so they aren't right next to each in order. So I bought 9 boxes kleenex, 1 cottonelle, 1 box trash bags....my coupons were in order of 3 kleenex mfq, 1 cottonelle mfq, $1 instant savings on kleenex, in ad coupon for cottonelle and in ad coupon for kleenex.
- you'll see when I give you wags scenarios for the week that I do multiple transactions each week. I will do a couple each time I go, never had a problem the cashiers are ok with it. That is how I maximize my register rewards (RRs) and rolling them into more and not paying $$$ for stuff.
- most of the stores take internet coupons (I have only heard of one store on Mineral Point Rd in Madison, WI that doesn't)

Here are some abbreviations you might see in my posts.
RR = Register Rewards from Walgreens. They are a manufacturer coupon that prints out after you pay.
RP = Sunday Red Plum coupon insert
SS = Sunday Smartsource coupon insert
OOP = out of pocket
MFG = manufacturer coupon
P&G = Proctor & Gamble coupon insert
MIR = Mail in Rebate
BOGO = Buy One Get One Free

Why did I start this blog?
I've started to use coupons seek out great deals. I've found out that doing this is just awesome. I can get lots of stuff for free or almost free. A few of my fellow couponers, deal seekers, and friends wanted me to start a blog to post the deals I come up with and get, so here I am. I live in Southern WI, I'm a mother of 2 young boys and I work a full-time job. You'll see posts for deals for Walgreens, Pick N Save/Copps, Piggly Wiggly, Target, Wal-Mart and who knows where else. So I guess I hope to help others out by finding great deals out there. Make sure you check out my favorite sites on the left hand side, these are the sites that got me started and helped me out!
